Privacy Policy


The Queensland Club has always accepted an obligation to keep confidential all personal information about its members, candidates for membership and its employees.

This document records the Club's policy on dealing with personal information.

The Queensland Club recognises the obligations imposed on it by the Privacy Act 1988 and the National Privacy Principles.

The Queensland Club:

  • will keep personal information in its possession securely and will maintain it accurately;
  • will make personal information available to third parties only with the written consent of the person to whom it relates;
  • will use personal information only for the purposes of the Club;
  • will make personal information it holds about a person available to that person upon request to the general manager; and
  • may, with the written consent of the employee, make personal information about an employee available to the employee’s superannuation provider;

The General Manager is the Club's privacy officer.
